Purpose

God has always gathered his people on this earth into communities where the “work” of being his people gets done. So in our community, we do the work of being God’s people: we worship and pray, we care and serve, we learn and grow, we go and tell . We do all of this in response to what God has done for us. We do not exist for ourselves, but for God and others. That’s our reason for being. No more. No less.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
